Check it out, Groove-ophiles! Metal Hurlant, Heavy Metal, and Epic Illustrated got all the glory, but Dean Motter and company produced a glorious and ambitious, if short-lived, sci-fi ground level sci-fi/fantasy comic mag called Andromeda from 1977 to 1979 through the Canadian company, Andromeda Publications. Here's a fave from issue #4 (December 1978). "For Tomorrow We Die" was produced by Brian Lee and Marc Griffiths, a talented duo of students of Sheridan College's comicbook production course. How cool is this?
