What it is, Groove-ophiles! Well, what it is today is a look at yet another Groovy Age rarity--Jim Starlin's OMAC back-up intended for Kamandi #60! As we all know, Kamandi fell to the DC Implosion of 1978, ending with ish #59 (in which we did get to se Judo Jim's opening salvo on OMAC), but a color version of "For this Is the New Origin of OMAC!" (masterfully inked by Joe Rubinstein) wouldn't see print in a color comic until after the Groovy Age ended, in Warlord #37 (July 1980)--and with a few alterations, at that. Today's post features photocopies (from the legendary Cancelled Comics Cavalcade #2, natch) of Starlin's second OMAC opus as it was intended to be seen back in the Summer of 78. Can you dig it?
